Tea has been a daily healthy drink for Chinese people since ancient times. People have been using tea as a source of energy, health, taste and stress relief. Different roles. In some countries, tea is their main source of nutrition. To understand how to make and enjoy tea, you must understand the different types of tea and its story. Take this experience course, starting with a cup of tea, to inspire you to explore many fun and relaxing ways of life taste with different teas. Activities: 1/ Classification & production process of Chinese tea 2/ Tea & water 3/ Tea & Teaware 4/ Tea etiquette & tea brewing practice 5/ Sip tea & choose right tea suitable for your physique Duration ：1.5 hours Tutor : 陳笑薇導師 (Teamaster May) Teamaster May graduated from the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University majoring in Tea Therapy & Nutritional Study for Health Preservation. She is certified in Occupational Qualification Certificate, China National Tea-Appraiser (First Level) and China National Tea-Artist (Second Level), the People’s Republic of China. Year 2023 she also certified in China National Occupational Qualification in Children's Tea Art Guidance Vocational Ability Training for "Teacher Instructor Level. Place: Homeland Tea Garden 故鄉茶園 Fees: Each HK$680/ pax (minimum 2 pax +up) **If 1 pax, each in HK$1360/pax ** Each participant will receive a souvenir ** Individual/self-organized small class/company group activities are available, please call/email for inquiries Our Facility & Equipment : 1/Advanced interactive TV + PPT presentation + Video + Full range of tea type samples and specimens 2/ Hong Kong’s first water purification system equipment and display space meet the "National Sanitation Foundation NSF58 (including NSF42/53) approval certification". Students are welcome to bring their own water/filtered water to our tearoom and we can help and analysis the water quality by our professional equipment. Attention before class: 1/ Forbidden to apply scented hand cream/perfume before class 2/ Eat some food first prevent empty stomach 3/ If you need to change the activity, please notify 48 hours before the start of the tea class.
